Cuisinart Convection Ovens are already in demand in the market today. The Cuisinart tob 165 toaster oven, in particular, is a favorite among household bakers. Cuisinart has been known for its kitchen innovations and helping households cook food more efficiently. The Cuisinart tob 165 toaster oven is innovative in that it delivers technology to consumers with efficiency and effectiveness. It can broil, bake, toast and cook food, not only with conventional heat but through convection technology. It can deliver results even if its size is just small. Cuisinart Convection ovens tend to have some issue with toasting. It takes longer to toast bread compared with conventional toaster. The reason behind this discrepancy is that the distance of the food to the heating element is greater. Toasting, therefore, might be an issue for the Cuisinart TOB 165. But if you want to cook a small meal, then you could make the best use of this Cuisinart product. The convection oven will not heat up. So when you cook chicken and potatoes, you are actually saving energy. A microwave oven could also do the trick but the results are not the same. If you want crispy brown broiled chicken, then this unit would be best for you. The controls of this product are good, nicely laid out and you can easily make out what they are for. It is pretty much like a microwave oven. You can choose a number of settings, depending on your cooking and baking needs. For broiling, you can choose 500 degrees. For baking and convection, you have to dial with preheat alert. Toasting comes with 7 browning options. You can squeeze in 4-6 slices for better time efficiency. You can also defrost frozen breads and reheat food without browning them. This Cuisinart convection toaster oven also comes with a broiling pan, a drip tray and has a three-rack level option. It is definitely better than conventional toaster ovens and you can save as much as 40% of your time cooking without sacrificing the quality and the taste of the food you cook.

Energy prices are so high these days and we really need to look at all the possible ways we can save energy. Now just for our pockets, but also for our planet! This is why I’m looking at the Cuisinart Toaster Oven Tob 195. Read on to see my reasons for liking it. If you have more than one person who wants to eat toast in the morning, you really need a toaster that heats up fast and that can make more than simply four slices of toast at a time. So, maybe that should be my first reason for considering a toaster oven. We are three people in the house who each wants to eat two slices of toast so we have quite a waiting list at the toaster in the morning! Another thing why I’m considering the Cuisinart Toaster Oven Tob 195 is because we are only three people. If we want to bake something small, we have to heat up the big oven which uses a lot of electricity and it takes a long time. Because a toaster oven is smaller it heats up a lot faster and therefore uses much less electricity. In South Africa we are looking at more that a 500% hike in electricity in the next few years so we have to make a plan, and soon! Then there is the other good reason. We love pizzas, but heating up the big oven for it is simply too expensive, and besides, in spite of it being big, it is still not big enough for all three. So, we might as well use the small toaster oven that takes a 12 inch pizza and eat our pizzas one after the other.
